HISTORY

Netting SA has been selling bird exclusion netting since 1994. The business was formed when it became obvious to me that growing cherries, fruit and grapes and keeping 100% of the crop was virtually impossible without bird net to protect it. As a direct result of my own experiences, I can empathize with growers who have faced the frustration of losing small to large volumes of their valuable fruit. (even the entire crop)

Working in conjunction with a well proven & experienced net supplier - Polyfab Australia we have all bases covered with bird netting of all varieties, ranging from single fruit tree throwover covers and total vineyard covers to permanent structures.

THROWOVER FRUIT & VINE COVERS

While we have a large variety of light to medium weight white throwover netting, we can also manufacture various weights & lengths to suit any growers' demands up to 25m wide. Our standard roll widths are     5m    -     6m     -    8.5m    -    10m    -    13m    -    15m    -    16.25m

CEILING METHOD

Using white, medium weight net, rows are covered 3 or 4 at a time and then the edges are joined together to form a 'roof' structure over the poles enabling easier access to the vines.

PERMANENT STRUCTURES

Heavy duty black, permanent net is also now a part of our defense against bird attack. We are now able to provide a service to erect complete permanent orchard covers with the expertise of a full time employee, so no more long waiting periods.
